SAROS field/works is a Minneapolis-based platform for Indigenous-led performance, research, and community activation. Founded by Sam Aros-Mitchell and rooted in his Performance as Ceremony framework, SAROS field/works supports artists working across choreography, sound, story, ceremony, and experimental practice.
Through festivals, residencies, workshops, and performances, including the Native Joy Play Festival and NE/X: A Festival of Indigenous Performance, SAROS field/works creates space for Indigenous artists to develop new work, build artistic relationships, and engage communities through contemporary performance.
