About the Festival
NE/X: A Festival of Indigenous Performance is a week-long gathering of Indigenous artists working across various disciplines, including movement, installation, sound, film, and ceremony.
Rooted in kinship and guided by Indigenous worldviews, NE/X celebrates artists who create from the center to the edge—those who expand the language of performance and invite audiences to experience new modes of relation, embodiment, and listening.
Produced by SAROS field/works, the festival transforms the Northrup King Building into a multi-gallery space of performance and reflection, bringing together Indigenous artists and audiences in celebration of body, land, and imagination.
Featured Artists: Theodore Marcil · Marique Moss · Julio Medina · Ashley Frantz · Ella Mahoney · Jack Langdon · Nina Boujee · Awanigiizhik Bruce · Aiyana Kline · Josie Hoffman
